This place has been on my list for ages and I finally got to try it on my wedding anniversary. It is beautifully decorated with trees and soft lighting. Unlike some other restaurants, the music is also at the right level so you can actually have a conversation! The staff were really polite and friendly too. There’s no formal dress code but smart casual is probably what suits the atmosphere. The food was good, I had the lamb and the prawns for starters. The prawns were great except taking it off the shell was a little tricky, I just didn’t want to accidentally get the sauce everywhere! As it was a special occasion, the gave us two glasses of champagne on the house - this was a lovely gesture except they should have asked if we drank alcohol beforehand perhaps, as I wasn’t drinking. Not a major issue for me but making assumptions probably isn’t wise when it comes to food and drink. Like I said, not an issue for me as my husband drank mine. Nice vibes. View isn’t amazing due to the immediate large buildings but still cool. I really enjoyed my night and would come back for drinks. We didn’t order drinks as we thought there was a separate bar attached. So next time, we’ll order some drinks! It is quite pricey but it’s expected I think.

We had an amazing experience at 14 Stories Chocolate Hazelnut & Cambridge Burnt Cream! We visited with my parents to celebrate my graduation and the service made the occasion even more special. A huge thank you to Arafat, who went above and beyond to make sure everything we had was halal by removing the alcohol, rum and any other non-halal ingredients. It’s rare to find someone so accommodating and understanding and we really appreciated the extra care he took. To top it all off, he surprised us with a complimentary congratulations treat, which was such a thoughtful gesture. He also shared some interesting information about the venue and recommended the apple juice, which was excellent. The ambience is beautiful, with stunning views from the 14th floor, just below The Garden at 120. Great food, outstanding customer service and a memorable experience.

Just got married and had a mini-moon in London. Wanted to book a nice evening meal on our first night. We were not disappointed. The staff were incredibly attentive without being pushy. Arafat was our main server and he was great. The food was delicious. Would absolutely recommend this restaurant!!

recently visited 14 Stories on Fenchurch Street. The ambiance is absolutely five star, with stunning views and a really elegant atmosphere. However, the food was only average. I ordered the sirloin steak and unfortunately it was very chewy, to the point that my jaw actually hurt afterwards. On the positive side, the drinks were excellent, especially the cocktails, which were very well made and enjoyable. Overall, it is a great place for the setting and cocktails, but the food did not match the same standard.
