What diners say
The problem with my family is that we eat quickly and tend not to take the time to enjoy the atmosphere of a restaurant or the quality of the food. It was my eldest's 15th birthday and, no, we didn't do anything different. But we did point out the fact that the service was swift, very professional, friendly and understanding. We also enjoyed the food immensely, half the party having lobster, whilst the other two had different burgers. All the plates were finished (lobster casings aside) and we actually said how nice the restaurant was.

My experience at Burger & Lobster was simply unforgettable. I started with a burger that was perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and with an ideal balance of flavors and textures. The lobster croquettes were absolutely insane, crispy on the outside, yet rich, creamy, and packed with flavor on the inside. It’s the kind of dish that stays on your mind long after the meal is over. I also got to try the lobster roll, and it was just as impressive. The lobster was succulent, fresh, and full of authentic flavor, exactly what you hope for, but rarely find done this well. And I almost forgot the lobster mac & cheese was incredibly good as well. Rich, comforting, and perfectly indulgent, with generous pieces of lobster that took it to another level. Overall, an outstanding dining experience. If you’re in London, this place is an absolute must-visit!

Having dined here years ago, I remembered Burger & Lobster as a reliable spot for a great meal, which makes this recent visit an absolute heartbreak. I never expected a famous brand to fall this low. This experience was a complete disaster, and spending around GBP 93 for two people felt like throwing money down the drain. My friend and I ordered the Percent Combo, along with an Espresso Martini and a mocktail, but every single item was a massive, overpriced disappointment that shattered all my good memories of this place. The most unacceptable and egregious issue was the Grilled Lobster. The moment it was served, a distinctly foul, fishy stench hit our noses. When I picked up the meat, it was severely shrunken and tiny. It lacked any of the springy texture you expect from fresh seafood; instead, the meat was mushy and decaying. It was incredibly obvious that they used a dead lobster that had been sitting around for a long time, making it completely inedible and a massive health hazard for the price we paid.To make matters worse, the beverages were shockingly lazy and definitely not worth the premium price tag. The Espresso Martini tasted less like a crafted cocktail and more like a lukewarm Americano with cheap alcohol dumped straight into it, leaving the flavors completely unblended, harsh, and bitter. The mocktail was equally disastrous. While the menu promised a refreshing blend of Earl Grey tea and fruit flavors, it tasted like nothing but pure, sickly sweet syrup. There was not a single hint of tea aroma or fruit freshness, making it taste like medicine. A restaurant charging nearly £100 should never serve spoiled seafood or fail at basic mixology. The standards have plummeted shockingly over the years. I left feeling scammed and terrified of food poisoning, and I will definitely never return.

Visited Burger & Lobster during my first visit to London and would highly recommend this place. Stopped by for a quick lunch prior to a visit to St Paul’s Cathedral. The service was exceptionally fast, the waiter was very friendly, and the food was great. Recommend both the Lobster Roll and the Lobster Smash Burger. Will return if I am ever in the area.
