What diners say
I had a fantastic experience at Jang in London. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and full of bold, well-balanced flavours. The atmosphere is stylish yet comfortable, making it perfect for both special occasions and relaxed dining. A special mention to Brayan and Nada, who were outstanding. They were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout the evening. Their service truly elevated the whole experience. Highly recommend! ⭐️

🦞 Lobster Kal-Guksu It has the comforting feel of classic Korean jajangmyeon, but with a unique twist. The combination of chilli butter and perilla soy vinaigrette lets the natural sweetness and freshness of the lobster infuse every single strand of noodles. 🍣 Chef’s Sushi & Sashimi Selection (12 pieces) A total of six sashimi cuts and six nigiri pieces. Each nigiri is finished with special Korean-style sauces — custom-blended for every type of fish to perfectly enhance and bring out their distinct flavours. 🐟 Spicy Miso Black Cod I’ve been obsessed with miso-grilled dishes lately, and this one is fantastic. The fish is incredibly fresh, served with blanched vegetables underneath to cut through richness — though honestly, it didn’t need it at all! All I wanted was a bowl of steamed rice to go with it, it’s that perfect comfort food. 🦐 Gochujang Tiger Prawns Tiger prawns grilled with gochujang sauce — they’re almost as big as my hand! The flesh is firm, bouncy and juicy, and the prawn roasts right into the shell. Pair it with that bold, savoury-spicy sauce, and you get an amazing explosion of umami and heat. 🥩 45 Day Dry-Aged Ribeye Steak A properly executed dry-aged ribeye — grilled over charcoal, finished simply with just a pinch of flaky sea salt. But what makes it unforgettable is the house-made chive sauce served alongside! This pairing is pure perfection. 🍊 Blood Orange Hwachae A refreshing dessert featuring fresh blood orange and pear, served with lemon sorbet and poured over traditional Korean hwachae syrup. Bursting with vibrant fruit flavours, light and cooling — exactly what you need for sweltering 30°C days in London! BTW, Kris provided an excellent service for us.👍👍👍

We had a wonderful afternoon tea experience, made even more special by our server, Hannah. She was an absolute gem and took the time to recommend teas based on both our preferences and the weather, which was a lovely personal touch. The selection of sandwiches was delicious, and the beef sandwiches were kindly substituted with chicken to accommodate our halal dietary requirements. The bread on one of the chicken sandwiches was slightly hard, but when I mentioned it, it was replaced immediately without any issues. The replacement was perfect, and we really appreciated how smoothly it was handled. We were also pleased that all of the cakes were suitable for us, as they contained no gelatin or alcohol. We spent around two hours enjoying our afternoon tea and never felt rushed or pressured to leave. Hannah was attentive, friendly, and genuinely looked after us throughout our visit. Her excellent service made the experience even more enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would happily return. Thank you, Hannah, for making our visit so memorable.

This was ok. Maybe my taste isn't sophisticated enough to understand the difference between this and cheaper sushi / fried chicken but, to me, it didn't seem worth the exceptionally higher price. The location is great. The staff were friendly and attentive. The food did all taste good, and it was nice having everything explained to us. I just personally didn't find anything stand-out or 'wow'. It all just tasted nice and cost a lot.
