The location of this campsite is perfect, backdrop of the hills and some shaded spots available. It is in desperate need of a new toilet, showers and washing up blocks. There are no hand dryers in bathrooms, exposed plaster with no tiles on the walls, only one of the ladies showers has a seat to put clothes on. The bin area was overflowing, a general feeling of poor cleanliness. Manager around on arrival but a general sense of presence if a large noisy group arrive. Would not go again.

Great campsite, toilet block could be better but its under construction. Other than that great little campsite, buses if you want to go to buttermere or Keswick. Pub near is amazing 👏🏻

Lovely little campsite with all the appliances needed. Gorgeous views surrounded the site when we visited in August. Not in the middle of no where with plenty of shops, cafes, walks and villages nearby! Would come again

Incredible location. The mountain views are spectacular and the atmosphere is peaceful and quiet at night. The staff is very friendly. I will definitely be back!
