Island Retreat comes ready to live in. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, so you arrive and settle in without faffing with bills or linens. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer for cooking proper meals rather than takeaways, and there's a terrace with garden furniture where you can eat outside.
The layout is straightforward: a living area with sofa bed and electric fire opening onto the terrace, two bedrooms (one double, one with two singles) and a shower room, all on the ground floor. Space for six people means families and friend groups can spread out without getting on each other's nerves. Parking for two cars is on-site, and an indoor swimming pool is shared with other properties—useful if the weather turns.
Colchester is coastal; The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant is nearby for when you don't want to cook. No smoking indoors. One dog is welcome. Arrive after 4pm, leave by 10am.
