What visitors say
We had a lovely peaceful 3 night stay at Coopers Beach with our 3 month old baby. The caravan we stayed in was really nice inside but could have been a bit cleaner. You could tell it was someone’s loved caravan that they rented out as there were quite a few personal belongings and it wasn’t the usual bog standard white plates etc. The trays for cooking were very old though and could do with replacing. We didn’t have any signal or wifi at all in the caravan but we found a wifi booster in the drawer which fixed the problem! The park itself seemed well maintained and it was very quiet and close to the beach. There isn’t a huge amount to do if you’re going with children and it probably isn’t somewhere we would go back to for the entertainment, but we would go back for a chilled holiday to use as a base to explore the area. Club house food and drink was good and not too expensive

A very pleasant stay. The service for both the reception, grounds and the restaurant is superb. The quality of the food was outstanding, never had such good food especially compared to other sites like this we've stayed at. During our stay England were playing and they showed the football on enough screens in the clubhouse it was watchable from everywhere. The staff joined in and had England flags painted on their faces.. There is a games room with the usual machines, slots, claw, basketball hoops etc. and the lady that runs it is a credit to her company, first class customer service skills and such a lovely lady. If she ever sees this review she'll know who it is when I mention Mr MAOAM man 😂

We recently stayed at Coopers Beach Holiday Park and unfortunately our experience was quite disappointing overall. Firstly, there was nobody available to guide us through the caravan park on arrival, so it was very easy to get lost trying to find our caravan. The caravan also did not match the pictures shown online, as the one advertised had a balcony and ours did not. This was a real shame, especially for the kids, as we were looking forward to the extra outdoor space. There was no air conditioning and the caravan was extremely hot when we arrived, which made it uncomfortable for the children. The WiFi was also very poor with little to no connection, despite us spending an extra £20 per day for 3 days to try and get better WiFi access. Another downside was that there are no nearby local shops, and it was very difficult to find mini cabs or local buses around the area. The children’s entertainment was quite poor and the swimming pools were much smaller than expected. The outdoor pool was also closed during our stay, which was very disappointing for the kids. Overall, sadly the holiday did not meet our expectations and I’m not sure we would visit again.

This site suited us down to the ground. The dog friendly caravan was fantastic, great to be this close to the sea. The clubhouse was great, good food, friendly service, reasonable prices. The shop is more than adequate for the essentials and not over priced. I can only guess that the poor reviews I have seen are from people who did not research enough and expected easy access to an entertainment hub... For a peaceful, friendly break, this is definitely the place to come.
