Conwy is a medieval walled town dominated by its castle, set where the river meets the coast in North Wales. Gwynfryn sits within this historic setting, a cottage that gives you the whole place to yourself rather than shared B&B rooms. It sleeps five across three bedrooms: a double bed, two singles, and another single, with one bathroom and space to spread out across ground and first floors.
The living room has a woodburner and smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, with electric oven and hob, fridge, and washing machine. Essentials like bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included; heating and hot water come from the system. There's an enclosed back garden with a patio for sitting out, and parking for one car on site. One well-behaved pet is welcome. The property is non-smoking.
From here you can walk to Conwy Castle itself, or venture into the surrounding countryside—the Dee Valley and Berwyn Mountains are close by for hiking. The town has its own high street of independent shops, cafes and pubs. Check-in is after 3pm and checkout before 10am.

This place was as charming as the photos on the website! Perfect location for walking all around town and down by the water. Close to good restaurants and pubs. Close to parking. Loved the special decorative touches, the fan and windows and the tub! Breakfast was delicious. We missed dinner there. Only wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Stunning property - Great B&B. Everything about our stay was lovely. We very much appreciated the fan and the mini fridge in the room, both are small things that make a big difference. Colin, one of the owners, was friendly and helpful. Super close to the train station, but far enough to be peaceful. Lots of options for breakfast, which was well prepared.

Welsh hospitality at its finest - Our stay at Gwynfryn started with an efficient check in that accommodated our needs and gave us plenty of time to walk around -- and above -- this beautiful city. Colin answered questions and provided good information about how to access surrounding sites via public transit. Breakfast was very satisfying and tasty.
