Hyfrydle

Hyfrydle works well for families with young children or couples wanting a compact base near the coast. The two bedrooms—one double, one with bunk beds—sleep four, and a travel cot and highchair are available if needed. There's a full bathroom with bath and shower, a living room with a woodburner and Freeview TV, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Everything you'd expect is included: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi.

The cottage sits on the slopes above Llandudno, with the beach and town centre half a mile downhill. A pub and restaurants are within easy reach on foot. Great Orme Golf course is directly opposite. The property comes with a courtyard and parking on the road. One dog is welcome. The approach has six steps and there are stairs inside, so it's not suitable for those with mobility difficulties. No smoking is permitted.

The location puts you within minutes of the Great Orme's clifftop views, the Victorian tramway, and Bronze Age copper mines. Conwy's medieval castle is a short drive away, and Snowdonia National Park, Anglesey's coastline, and Surf Snowdonia are all within reach for day trips.
