Sgubor Ucha

A converted barn in the hills above Llanrhychwyn, Sgubor Ucha is a detached property finished to a high standard. The building sits at the end of winding lanes in rural Conwy, within walking distance of Llyn Geirionnydd lake and close to Gwydir Forest Park—ideal for those after woodland walks and cycling routes without the need to drive far.

Inside there are three bedrooms—a kingsize with ensuite shower, a second kingsize, and a third with two singles—plus two bathrooms. The main living space has a woodburner and French doors opening onto patio areas; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking, with an electric oven, dishwasher and all the usual appliances. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included, along with initial fuel for the fire. The property draws water from a borehole and has parking for three cars.

Betws-y-Coed, the Snowdonia gateway, lies about 4 miles away. Conwy Castle and the medieval town centre are under 30 minutes' drive, as is Llandudno with its two beaches. A shop, pub and restaurant are 1½ miles away. Smoking is not permitted.
