What visitors say
This site is fast becoming a favourite of ours. It’s very peaceful with lots of wildlife around. Mark and Lisa very kindly put us back on our favourite pitch for our recent visit. The toilet block is immaculate with plenty of showers and hot water. We always lookout for the deer and weren’t disappointed this visit. A lovely site, we hope to return before the end of season.

Friendly campsite ( Google seems to think its a hotel but its a campsite) in a great location for walking to Corfe Castle village or along the Purbeck ridge with good views. Hardstanding pitches are level and site well maintained. Facilities good although temperature control on the showers would be nice as in a heatwave the water is a bit warm. Fantastic for nature as loads of birds, butterflies, dragonflies and visiting deer. Was quiet most of time we were there as not during school holidays. Would use again and recommend. Also the Purbeck ice cream is worth a try.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The pitch was lovely and private for our tent, peaceful campsite surrounded by lovely countryside and conveniently placed 15 minutes walk from Corfe Castle, and 20 minutes drive from Durdle Door. Staff very helpful. Toilet and shower facilities very clean. What could be improved are the showers themsleves. They're very high pressure and one temperature only (quite hot), and after a hot and sweaty hike, a cool shower would be nice - so being able to adjust the temperature and the power! Other than that, lovely campsite.

Very quiet and tranquil site. Spent five nights here. Although the site is on sloping ground, the pitches are all level and gravelled. EHU close. Only one service block, so you could have a walk to use the facilities. Not a good site for disabled campers. Toilet blocks clean. Showers are controlled with a push button and the water is only warm, not possible to change temperature. Disappointed! Steep slope to toilet blocks, no handrails, so I found the trip to the facility difficult. This site is quite expensive, over £35 per night. The laundry facilities , £4.50 per wash, drier £2.00 for 20 mins, so another £6.00 to dry a load of washing.😕 Waste bins very dirty and full for the duration of our stay.😏 Initially booked for six nights, so asked for a refund for one night and was told no in no uncertain terms.🤷♂️ Tourist information room very good and plenty of information.👏 Wouldn’t recommend or return.
