About Fox Camping
Fox Camping is a tiny eco-friendly site tucked into North Cornwall's rolling landscape near Launceston, with spacious pitches spread across a top field and a more secluded lower woodland area. Each pitch comes with a picnic table and firepit, and while some have parking right alongside, others require a short wheelbarrow trundle—part of the charm of this peaceful, remote spot. The site is exceptionally dog-friendly, even offering doggy daycare and training for an extra charge.
A footpath leads straight from the camping field to ancient Warbstow Bury, and you're ideally placed for the Camel Trail, South West Coastal Path, Bodmin Moor and a cluster of excellent beaches. Homemade pizzas are available on site for lazy evenings, and local villages sell farm-fresh eggs and produce. If the weather turns, the art deco Regal cinema in Wadebridge (half an hour away) makes a gorgeous rainy-day refuge. Facilities are simple but well-kept, including spacious showers and a communal fridge-freezer.

This was our second time staying at Fox camping, and we loved it as much as the first time! It’s a lovely peaceful site with a gorgeous view. We were lucky enough to get a rainbow this time! The toilets/showers are simple but great. Very spacious and have a lovely woody smell as they’re in a barn! The campsite owner is such a lovely lady, who makes fab pizzas! With lots of vegan options for toppings which is always a plus. We will absolutely stay here again! :)

This is our second year coming as such a lovely campsite and owner, has everything you need! Views are incredible. We had a flat car battery and Victoria kindly drove all the way to Halfords to pick us up a new one!! The facilities are lovely and clean, always stocked up with the essentials aswel as a fridge with snacks and drinks need be! Offers games, body boards, colouring etc which even as an adult, have thoroughly enjoyed! Couldn’t recommend enough, hope to come again next year!

Great quiet site with nice amenities and a lovely host. We stayed at one of the tent pitches a little further away from the caravan sites, making a cosy wooded retreat that was absolutely perfect for a warming campfire after a long wet walk. The overlook from the main camp is really lovely and would be great for star-gazing on a clear night. The shared shower/toilets were spotless and the covered communal area perfect for drying a few things out after classic British summer weather. Victoria was a friendly and gracious host, quick to respond to any of our questions. We would love to stay again in the future! Thank you.

The campsite is very clean and well maintained. The owner, Victoria, is helpful and kind, making it easy to get assistance when needed. The views from the site are excellent, and it is quiet at night with no late-night noise. There are also many interesting places to visit in the surrounding area, making it a good base for exploring.
