Small, adult only touring site with views across St Agnes Beacon, ten minutes from Perranporth. Dog friendly.

About Higher Hendra Holidays

Just outside Perranporth on Cornwall's north coast, Higher Hendra Holidays is a small, adult-only touring site with sweeping views across to St Agnes Beacon. The peaceful setting makes it a good base for walkers and couples seeking a quieter pace, with electric hook-ups, showers and full facilities on hand. Dogs are welcome throughout, and the site stays open year-round for those chasing off-season coastal escapes.

Perranporth's three miles of sand are ten minutes away by car, while the South West Coast Path runs close by for serious hikers. There's no Wi-Fi, which some will see as a bonus rather than a drawback, though it's worth noting if you need to stay connected. All told, it's a straightforward, well-kept spot that lets the Cornish landscape do the talking.

Really lovely welcoming site for touring caravans and motorhomes, it's peaceful as adult only with 10 large well kept pitch's with stunning views, and ideally located near to Perranporth and Newquay. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful campsite with a nice toilet and shower block however I must warn other people when we phoned up to enquire about the price they told us it was £24 a night ,but upon arrival were charged £30 a night. If you book here be sure to get written proof of all your charges . We were not the only ones that thought were overcharged ,we spoke to others on the campsite that thought the same and had the same issues as we had. Internet reception here is terrible and the electric hook up isn't that good either, fridge went off whenever the kettle or hot water was put on a number of occasions due to how low the electric hook up is. The pitches were uneven. We used levelling blocks and a ramp on one wheel, but still couldn't get the caravan level .This was meant to be an adult only site but while we were there, there were several kids on the campsite but fortunately they were quiet. The lane up to the campsite is very narrow and winding.

Fantastic small, quiet and peaceful adult only site with lovely clean modern amenity block and very friendly owner. Just 10 large hardstanding pitches. Lovely walk to Peranporth too! Will be going back and definitely recommend to others.

A lovely little site that was perfect for our first trip out in our new motorhome. It's down a Cornish lane which is quite narrow, if you're coming to Cornwall expect them, that's what the roads are like. Mobile internet on O2 was great and suitable for streaming Netflix, iPlayer etc. Electrics were fine for us - heating, toaster and kettle all fine. Our pitch was nice and level and more than big enough for us and our dogs and each pitch has a picnic table which is a nice touch. Showers and toilets were fantastic, might be busy during peak time as but you're on holiday so relax. Will definitely come back again.
