About Monkey Tree Holiday Park

Monkey Tree Holiday Park delivers a family-focused camping experience with generous pitch sizes and facilities that visitors consistently praise for being spotlessly maintained. The heated outdoor pool is a highlight, while shower blocks earn regular compliments for their cleanliness. Pitch options run from standard electric grass through to ultra-deluxe fully serviced spots with ensuite bathrooms – plus allocated bathroom pitches for those wanting a touch more comfort. Staff get warm mentions for their helpful, friendly approach, and there's a full programme of kids' entertainment to keep younger campers occupied.

The park can feel overcrowded during peak times, so booking outside school holidays might suit those seeking a quieter stay. Dogs are welcome, WiFi is available across the site, and with hook-ups standard across the board, it's a well-equipped base for exploring Cornwall's north coast.

I have really mixed feelings about this place, just came home today from a 4 day camping trip. The staff were LOVLEY (besides the woman in the arcade with the blondish curly hair-she’s a bit tetchy) food was good although pricey (as expected with any holiday park) the pool was beautiful and you really did feel as though you were abroad and the staff doing the kids entertainment truly do have a heart of gold, especially the young lady going around with her fan and trying to cool people down a bit. I wish I had gotten her name as we had a good few conversations with her as she is a star. The outdoor park is great too. The toilet blocks definitely need more attention, sometimes they were absolutely disgusting. When we were there, one min they were doing a booking system and the next they weren’t for the swimming. You had to wait in a massive cue to even find out what was going on etc but we did manage to get in for a session. The kids entertainment was in a different place to the adults so if you wanted to do both, you’d never get a table in the adults as it’s tiny (probably the size of a average restaurant). Very poor drinks choices, you can basically have rattler or canned wine (which was not nice) definitely need more seating outside by the park and some shade/Parasols or something. Arcade was ok could do with an upgrade. No ‘funky monkey’ teddy’s anywhere too. Only get to meet the monkey on a Wednesday it seems(?) we didn’t stay for a Wednesday so had disappointed children as that’s the whole Advertisement for the park (could be down to the heat tho) although the soft play is a nice touch- was pretty gross and messy in there. I feel like this place has a lot of potential but personally it’s just too disorganised and not offering enough for us in terms of drinks etc

Highly recommend this place for families. They have great facilities for the kids and loads to do. The pool is lovely and warm even in those cooler days. The guys that put on the activities for the kids are really great, super friendly and helpful. Our two girls (age 5 and 2) really enjoyed the Soft Play, the mini golf, Discos & Magicians, the (Child friendly) Archery and Axe throwing, the scooter-karts, the bouncy castle, kids adventure play park, Arcade, and other evening entertainments. We camped in a tent and the pitch sizes and access are really good with plenty of facilities (toilets, Showers, laundry) within easy reach of all pitches. This place is great value for money for everything the site has to offer. There are also smaller kids adventure parks dotted about the site. We enjoyed the Bar, the Bingo, joining in with the kids activities. We stayed during the May Half term and there was plenty of space for all the activities and pool, no long ques or delays. We’d both like to say thank you to all the staff for a great stay. Can’t wait to come back.

Currently staying at monkey tree holiday park with my family in our touring caravan. First thoughts when we pulled up to check in was how well kept and tidy it was. After setting up and wondering around and Dealing with the staff here, wow every member of staff are friendly approachable and professional. This place is perfect and I highly recommend. The pool is stunning and staff professional. Bar and food lovely. The public toilets are so well kept and smell gorgeous all the time. Well done to the staff and management. A credit to all holiday parks.

Just spent a fantastic 4 nights here with my husband and toddler. We were all super happy with the park! The pool is really lovely and it felt like we were in a hotel rather than a campsite. The toilets and shower facilities were spotless and the amount ho do with a little one is just right. The location was great we had a campervan and travelled all around Cornwall from the campsite. Couldn't fault the animation and staff either during our stay. We stayed in June mon-fri out of school holidays so I can't comment on how busy it could get but when we were there it was quiet. Will definitely return!
