The Old Chapel is a converted chapel on a quiet lane in Camel Valley, sleeping four across two bedrooms. What sets it apart is the heated indoor swimming pool on the 15-acre grounds—shared with one other property, it's open year-round and measures 24ft by 12ft. The grounds also include woodland walks, an orchard, and your own garden with seating and a barbecue.
The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs there's a living room with Freeview TV and a kitchen/dining area with an electric oven, hob and microwave—everything you need to self-cater properly. One bedroom is on this level with an en-suite shower room. Upstairs, a galleried double bedroom sits under the original beams; wood-burning stove fuel is included. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all provided. A highchair is available if needed.
The Camel Trail runs just 200 yards away, branching towards Padstow or Bodmin Moor depending on which direction you walk; there's a bike store nearby. The Cornish coast is 20 minutes by car, and Wadebridge with its shops and restaurants sits 2 miles away. The property is non-smoking. Note that steep or narrow stairs are a feature of the building.

Yet another great week at The Old Chapel. Our 5th year here and certainly will not be our last. The cottage was immaculate.Took our daughter and Granddaughter this time who both fell in love with it. The swimming pool was a great hit and again is immaculate. So peaceful but central for most attractions and sitting on the patio after a day out. Already booked for next year

The Old Chapel is conveniently located near the camel trail and offers stunning views across the valley and treetops. The accommodation is very cosy and offers everything you need for a relaxing stay in the countryside. We particularly enjoyed the leisure pool on site and the opportunity to explore the surrounding fields and woodland. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly owners and they have gone to great lengths to offer little extras such as a welcome biscuits on arrival, Nespresso coffee machine and Roku streaming stick allowing you to watch your favourite box sets and shows in the evening. If you are into bird watching you will find plenty of bird seed to put out, a little guide and a monocular. The chapel also has a convenient electric car charging point for use by guests. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything you need including a microwave and washing machine. The terrace is a lovely little sun-trap with great views and very private. If you are looking for relaxing well-appointed holiday cottage set in idyllic grounds in a convenient location then the Old Chapel is hard to beat.
