Bethel Cottage

Bethel Cottage suits couples or small families after a quiet break by the water. The two bedrooms both have kingsize beds, and there are two bathrooms, so guests have space to spread out. One bedroom overlooks the creek, where you can watch the tide and wildlife from the window. Downstairs, the living room and kitchen/dining room both have woodburners for cooler months, a woodburner, and the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking—oven, hob, dishwasher and the rest. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included, plus initial logs for the fires and a welcome pack.

The cottage sits on the Tregothnan Estate in a creekside setting surrounded by countryside. Access is via steps from the parking area. The garden has a patio, furniture and a barbecue. One well-behaved pet is welcome. Truro is about ten minutes' drive away for shops and restaurants. Newquay's beaches are roughly 16 miles north, Padstow about 20 miles, and the sailing towns of Mylor, Falmouth and St Mawes are all nearby. Please note that smoking is not permitted inside.
