Candles Cottage

Candles Cottage sits in Cubert, a small village near Saint Cuberts Church, within easy reach of Holywell Bay's golden sands and the larger resorts of Newquay and Perranporth. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms—a double and two singles—with one bathroom and a shower room on the ground floor. The open-plan living space has a woodburner, Smart TV and DVD player; the kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a dishwasher, electric cooker and microwave. Bed linen, towels, electricity and Wi-Fi are included.

A decked patio opens from the living area into a large lawned garden that overlooks fields. There is private parking for two cars on site. The garden gate leads directly across a field to a local pub, said to have smuggling connections in its past. Holywell Bay, famous as a filming location, is a short drive away; Newquay and Perranporth sit roughly three miles off in opposite directions, offering beaches, a zoo, sea fishing, live music venues and a working harbour. The village itself has a bakery, pub and shop. Golf, horse riding and go karting are available nearby, along with cycling routes through the surrounding countryside. No smoking in the cottage; one well-behaved pet is welcome.
