Carnethic House – One Acre View is a first-floor apartment within a substantial period property, set among landscaped grounds that stretch to an acre. The building itself commands attention: a grand structure subdivided to create self-contained holiday lets, each with direct access to the shared facilities and gardens that define the estate. You have the whole place to yourselves, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms across a single level.

The layout flows from a living room with French doors onto a generous balcony, through to a kitchen and dining area with everything you need for cooking. One bedroom has a super kingsize bed and ensuite with bath and shower; the other offers two single beds and a cubicle shower. Heating, electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are all included. The real draw beyond your apartment is the indoor heated swimming pool—15 metres long, with a retractable roof—plus a sauna, both shared with other guests staying on-site. A single parking space comes with the let.

Fowey itself is a working harbour town within walking distance, its narrow streets lined with galleries, shops and restaurants. The Hall Walk, popular with locals, traces the shoreline and climbs through woodland with views across the estuary and out to sea. Water sports—sailing, fishing, kayaking—centre on the river, and the town hosts the Royal Regatta in August and a festival of arts and literature in May. Note that there is a water feature in the garden.
