Cheesewring Cottage suits couples after a quiet break in the countryside. This single-storey property on a working farm gives you your own space entirely to yourselves, with parking for one car and a garden to retreat to. One dog can stay free of charge.
Everything is on one floor. The open-plan living area combines kitchen, dining and seating in one room, equipped for cooking proper meals rather than reheating. A king-size bedroom connects to its own en-suite shower room. Heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with wifi if you need to stay connected. The garden furniture on your decked area faces towards Bodmin Moor—a working landscape rather than a picture-postcard view, but one that changes throughout the day.
From here you're positioned for moorland walks and exploring the granite country around you. Looe's harbour and beaches lie within driving distance, as do the Eden Project, Bodmin Jail and Lanhydrock House. The immediate surroundings are designated for their landscape value and wildlife, which is the sort of place that appeals to people who actually want to step outside and look around rather than collect attractions.
