Church Cottage suits couples and small families looking for a genuine retreat. The property sleeps four across two bedrooms—one double downstairs, two singles also on the ground floor—with a bathroom to match. Upstairs, an open-plan living space combines kitchen, dining and sitting areas, where a Smart TV and wifi keep you connected if you want it. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen and broadband are included, and the kitchen has everything needed to cook properly rather than just reheat.
The cottage sits in a small group of buildings beside the medieval church of St Gennys, surrounded by fields on a clifftop. A lawned garden with patio and barbecue faces outward; the location makes it feel remote, though the hamlet of Crackington Haven—with a pub and cafes—is walkable downhill. The coastal path runs fifteen minutes away on foot, and Crackington Haven beach is a similar walk or five-minute drive. There is parking for one car on site, and one well-behaved pet is welcome. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The accommodation is reversed: the main bedrooms occupy the ground floor with the living areas upstairs, accessed by a stable door that works as a stair-gate. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
