Bude's clifftop stretches north toward St Gennys Church, where Churchtown Cottages sits in its own grounds just above the coast. Raddons is the ground-floor unit here—a whole cottage to yourself, sleeping six across three bedrooms. The double has field and sea views; the other two rooms (one with bunks, one with singles) are equally comfortable. One bathroom with bath and shower serves everyone, and there's a heated towel rail.
The main living area is open plan, bringing kitchen and sitting room together. You get a proper oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge and microwave, plus a breakfast bar if you want to eat as you cook. A woodburner warms the space on cooler days (initial fuel is provided). Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. Laundry facilities are available, though they're shared with other cottages on-site. One pet stays free, and there's parking for one car on the property, with additional free spaces nearby.
The cottage suits families or groups wanting to be near the water. You're close enough to coastal walks and beaches, but far enough back to have proper peace. Note that smoking is not permitted inside.

Raddons is a unique and special Place. Superb sea views, really peaceful, tucked away in the edge of a quiet hamlet yet a short distance from Crackington Haven with it’s beach, excellent walks and terrific pub and cafes. Easy to get to the villages if Boscastle and Tintagel as well as the small town of Bude with great surfing opportunities. We have stayed in Raddons many times. It’s comfortable, everything works, the beds are a delight and the owners a pleasure to deal with. Can’t fault anything other than having to leave.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location with lots of walks straight from the door along the coastal path. Raddons is the top floor- (Sort of horizontal semi detached!) Dog friendly with an enclosed garden plus ponies in the paddocks so I didn’t get withdrawal from my own back home! Comfortable and quality furniture and furnishings. Cosy when the wild winds are battering the coastline and a short walk to the nearest pub and beach. Loved my first visit to Cornwall. Would definitely recommend this place and hope to return. 5⭐️
