Dove Cottage

Dove Cottage is a converted barn with two bedrooms and one bathroom, sleeping four. It sits in a quiet rural setting between Callington and Launceston, positioned roughly midway between Cornwall's north and south coasts. A wood adjoins the property, and a gastro pub lies a mile away. The owners live next door.

The ground floor holds a spacious bedroom with a kingsize bed, a living room with Freeview TV and DVD player, and a kitchen/dining room equipped for full self-catering—oven, microwave, dishwasher, and washer-dryer all present. Upstairs, under a vaulted ceiling, are two single beds. A bathroom with bath and shower serves the cottage. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. The enclosed patio garden has furniture and a barbecue, and on-request extras include a highchair and stairgate for younger children.

The location offers access to Bodmin Moor and Dartmoor within half an hour's drive, and the rivers and villages around Calstock provide opportunities for canoeing and cycling. The north coast resort of Bude and the south coast fishing port of Looe are each under an hour away. A farm shop with café and restaurant is nearby. No smoking throughout the cottage.
