The Cornish coast lies within easy reach, and Redruth sits close enough to explore both seaside towns and the inland countryside. Brian Etherington Meats and Farm Shop is nearby for provisions, and the broader area offers beaches, walking routes, and rural attractions without the need to drive far.
Goonearl Cottage is a substantial house arranged across two floors, with nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It accommodates up to 16 people and welcomes one pet at no extra charge. The ground floor contains a living room with a woodburner, a dining room, a kitchen with electric cooking and full appliances, and a conservatory. Upstairs, bedrooms vary from doubles to singles; most have ensuite showers. Two rooms can be configured as super-king beds if preferred. A cot and highchair are available for younger guests. The property provides wi-fi, heating, bed linen and towels; there is parking for six or seven cars on site.
The house suits large groups—families gathering together, or friends on holiday as a unit. No smoking is permitted inside. The working kitchen means groups can prepare their own meals; the separate living and dining spaces allow people to gather or retreat as they choose.

We had a really lovely stay at Goonearl. The place was welcoming, clean, and very peaceful, a great spot to relax. There’s a nice lounge to unwind and some fun games available to play. The large dining area, big fridge/freezer, and fully equipped kitchen made meals easy, and having a washing machine on site was very convenient. The only small downside was that the double bed felt a bit too small for two average-sized adults, so a larger bed would make it perfect. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!

I’ve Enjoyed My Holiday There Plenty Of Places To Visit & Souvenirs To Collect From Different Gifts Shops Have Lunch Or Dinner Out Have Pint or 2 & Relax In The Room Watch Something On Tv There’s Plenty Things To See & Do!!! I Highly Recommend Cornish Pasty While You Stay On Holiday 🥟

Just returned from a 3 night stay here and my partner and I really enjoyed it. The room was bright, clean and comfy. The shared dining areas were clean and tidy. It's a wonderful little place to stay; nestled in the quiet Wheal Rose, you'll get a really comfy night's sleep, especially if you've been out all day on the beaches etc :) 10/10. Highly recommend.
