Hazelwood Lodge is a 17th-century cottage in Cawsand, right on the water's edge of this fishing village. Everything essential is provided: electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are all covered, so you can arrive ready to settle in. The cabin is yours alone for the duration of your stay, with no shared spaces.
The ground floor contains an open-plan kitchen and living room. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, with a dining table for four and a breakfast bar. The living room has a log burner and sliding doors onto a large galleried balcony overlooking the bay; a separate toilet is in the hallway. Upstairs are two bedrooms—a double and a twin—sharing a bathroom between them. The double bedroom has sea views. A pub is within walking distance, and the village has restaurants, shops and beach access nearby; the car park is about five minutes away.

From the moment we arrived until the second we left, the heavens were open. This of course had absolutely zero impact as to how much we enjoyed our stay at Hazelwood Lodge, owing to a well-thought-out roof over the hot tub, and algae-free decking that instilled complete confidence! The towel hooks have been set to the correct height for the towels (it’s the little things), and the hot tub was both warm and sparkly clean on arrival, and just a pleasure to relax in whilst we listened to the rain 🧘🏻♂️ 🌧️ I had heard that there were some nice views, we’ll have to come back on a clear day for those! 😄 Thank you for an excellent stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A great private location. Ideal for a "get away from it all" night with your partner. No phone signal in this area, but WiFi is provided at the lodge. I recommend it.

Booked this with an Airbnb and had a wonderful stay, right in the middle of nowhere yet somehow within 15 minutes of everywhere, definitely a quirky layout with a great hot tub so lots of fun. One thing, with it being what it is it can get really really cold and the heater takes a decent amount of time to warm it up so if you're staying in the winter turn it on as soon as you get in! All in all a memorable holiday and will visit again!
