The Retreat at Willow Vale

The Retreat at Willow Vale is a Grade II listed building in Kingsand, a historic fishing village in southeast Cornwall. The cottage sits in the village centre, steps from the beach and the cluster of pubs and shops that line the waterfront. You have the whole property to yourself, sleeping four across two bedrooms—a double and a twin, each with its own shower room.

The main living space is open-plan, light and airy, with a wood burner for cooler evenings and bifold doors that open onto a private courtyard with outdoor seating. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a double electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washer-dryer. Electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The cottage has no dedicated parking, but you can load and unload directly outside, and a public car park is a three-minute walk away.

Kingsand works well for families and couples wanting to be close to the sea without feeling removed from village life. The beach is less than five minutes on foot, the pub is within the mile, and the courtyard is a pleasant spot for breakfast or to dry off after swimming.
