Heather Cottage

Heather Cottage is a detached bungalow on a quiet lane in Penzance, with everything on a single level—an entrance of just three steps, then living room, kitchen, conservatory, two bedrooms and bathroom all on the ground floor. The second bedroom has two single beds (3ft); the first a double (4ft 6in). There's a shower cubicle and bath, and a conservatory overlooking the rear garden.

The kitchen is fully equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, so you can cook as much or as little as you want. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The property has parking for three cars on site and an enclosed lawned garden with patio; there are four steps between the patio and the lawn. No smoking inside.

St Erth train station is less than a mile away, running services to Penzance and Truro, or the scenic branch line to St Ives. The A30 puts you within quick reach of beaches at Hayle, Carbis Bay and Porthkidney. St Ives itself—a few miles north—has multiple beaches, a working harbour, galleries including Tate St Ives, and the usual mix of cafés and restaurants. The Cornish coast in both directions is accessible from here.
