The north Cornwall coastline between Boscastle and Port Isaac is within easy reach of Violet Cottage, a two-storey terraced property on the edge of Camelford. The whole cottage is yours alone, sleeping four across a king bed and two singles. A wood-burning stove warms the open-plan ground floor where the kitchen has an electric oven and hob, dishwasher and microwave; upstairs, a shower room serves both bedrooms. Wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, and one dog stays free.
The cottage sits within a small development of five properties, each with its own enclosed garden and patio. On-site parking is available for one car, and there is an electric vehicle charging point. About 200 yards away, Bowood Park Golf Club allows non-members into its bar and restaurant, and day or weekly passes give access to a gym and swimming pool. The surrounding countryside has miles of footpaths for exploring on foot, and the Camelford area draws visitors interested in Cornish history and coastal walking. Smoking is not permitted inside.

Fantastic holiday park. Peaceful beautiful and the staff and housekeeping team are second to none. Incredibly helpful and polite. Highly recommended.

Lovely little cottage that was clean, well kitted out, and suited us perfectly. Sadly there was no bath and only a washing machine, not a washer/dryer, but everything else was great.

I forget how many times we have stayed at the Juliot Wells Cottages. They are not "Boutique" but they are comfortable and serve our needs very well. Primrose and Bluebell are dog friendly with a secure yard and are situated very close to a public footpath for lovely "walkies". If we have ever had any concerns a quick phone call has resolved the issue. Thank as always for a lovely stay and no doubt see you soon! The Powells

The area is fantastic, quiet with lovely views. But the cottage itself isn't what you pay for. No locks on the toilets. So you are in constant fear when showering. The roof leaked after 2 showers. Table was absolutely filthy. And the front door ets in too much of a draft and, couldn't get the grill to work so had to go out for breakfast which cost more money. Definitely not worth the price we paid.
