Lavender Cottage

Cornwall's north coast around Woodlands Manor Farm has enough walking, beaches and villages to fill a week without trying. Sandymouth Bay is three and a half miles away, its golden sand extending two miles to Crooklets Beach at low tide. Clovelly village, with its steep cobbled street down to the harbour, sits eleven miles north. The grounds themselves include an unfenced lake, so take care if you're travelling with young children.

Lavender Cottage is a single-storey detached property sleeping four across two bedrooms: a king en-suite and a twin room with its own shower. Downstairs is open-plan living, dining and kitchen in one space, with a wood-burning stove. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob and dishwasher for cooking from scratch. You get a 49-inch television, Wi-Fi, and everything essential for a stay including bed linen and towels. Heating, electricity and Wi-Fi are covered in the price.

The wider farm complex has a heated indoor swimming pool (twelve metres by four, open 8am to 8pm), a games room with snooker and table tennis, and shared grounds. Private parking for two cars and an electric charging point are on site. Smoking is not permitted inside the cottage.
