You enter Rose Cottage into an open-plan ground floor: a substantial living and dining space anchors one side, with a woodburner and smart TV for quieter evenings; the kitchen runs alongside, equipped for real cooking with electric oven and hob, dishwasher, and separate utility room housing a freezer. A shower room and kingsize bedroom complete the lower level. Upstairs are three more bedrooms—a four-poster kingsize, and two rooms with twin single beds—served by a family bathroom with a bath and shower.

The property sleeps eight and sits within Woodlands Manor Farm, a cluster of converted farm buildings on the Cornish coast. You have the whole place to yourselves, plus use of the heated indoor swimming pool (12 metres by 4 metres, open until 8pm), games room with snooker and table tennis, and grounds with a barbecue and children's play area. One dog stays free. There is an unfenced lake in the grounds. Parking covers two cars, including an electric vehicle charging point. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels come as standard; a washing machine and tumble dryer are in the external utility room.

Bude itself—shops, restaurants, two beaches—lies six miles away. Sandymouth Bay Beach, a National Trust property three miles off, stretches two miles at low tide and overlooks dramatic cliff walks. The famous Bude Tunnel, 70 metres long, frames sea views while sheltering you from the weather.
