Mariners Loft at Mixtow Creek opens directly onto an open-plan living, kitchen and dining room with views across the River Fowey. The arrangement encourages you to linger over breakfast or settle in after exploring—the kitchen is equipped for straightforward cooking, and there's space to gather comfortably. Two bedrooms sleep three: a double with river views and a single with a pull-out option. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. One well-behaved dog can stay with you here.

The real draw is what lies beyond the doors. A shared pontoon runs right in front, opening up fishing, crabbing, paddleboarding and kayaking directly from the property. Shared garden areas with patio spaces face the water, ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks. Off-road parking is on site. Fowey itself—an ancient port town—sits close by, while Polruan is within reach across the river by ferry. Walkers can pick up local paths and connect to the South West Coast Path; the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan and various National Trust properties are all feasible days out.
