The River Fowey runs past this cottage, putting you within easy reach of Polruan by car or passenger ferry, Fowey's harbour a short drive away, and the South West Coast Path accessible for walking. Looe, Polperro and Mevagissey are nearby; further afield lie Eden Project and Heligan Gardens. A shared pontoon opens water-based options: kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing and crabbing, or arranging a boat to explore the river itself.

Skippers Cottage is yours alone. Ground floor living centres on an open-plan kitchen, lounge and dining area with French doors onto a veranda overlooking the water—the natural place to settle for meals or to simply watch the estuary. A woodburner warms the space through cooler months. Upstairs are two bedrooms: one with a king bed and estuary views, the other with a single bed and a pull-out single. The bathroom has a shower over the bath. A separate downstairs WC adds convenience. The kitchen is equipped for straightforward cooking; wifi, bed linen, towels and electricity are included. Parking for two cars is on site.
