Mount Hawke Holiday Bungalows - Chalet 8

Our bungalow was well appointed, spotless and perfect for our vacation. Dan, the owner, was unbelievably helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The site is tucked away in an idyllic, quite spot and we’d highly recommend it. We will book here again on our next trip down south.

Family of four! absolutely loved it! location is so tranquil and beautiful! Lovely forest walks nearby! Dipped our feet in crystal clear brooks, swung from trees, went blackberry picking! Nearby beaches gorgeous! Loved it! Perfect place to get away from it all for a few days! xxx

When we arrived it was so peaceful there are around 8 chalets and woodland walks near by, the location is perfect as there are shops close by and the beach is right around the corner. The houses are so nicely kept. Everything was clean and there was essential supplies left everywhere such as plates washing up liquid and even cooking utensils. Perfect for a quiet night sleep!

This is our second stay here and it won’t be our last. The chalets have now been refitted with new kitchens and bathrooms, new carpets and they’ve been repainted. Really smart and fresh. The setting is idyllic, the chalets are spaced out and there is loads of play space for everyone to enjoy. We stayed at the of September and although it was cold outside it was toasty warm inside. Christine and Dan are very helpful and professional and are doing a great job during Covid 19. Actually perhaps I shouldn’t give them a great review - it’s a gem of a place that I want to be able to rebook!
