North Shore is a detached house a short walk from Newquay's sandy beach. The ground floor spreads across a living and dining room, a separate sitting room, and a kitchen with French doors to the garden. There's also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer, a conservatory, and a toilet. Upstairs, the four bedrooms include one with a kingsize bed and ensuite shower, one with a double, and two with single beds each. The family bathroom has a bath with shower over. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are provided, along with electricity; heating costs extra in winter months. One dog stays free of charge.
The enclosed garden has a patio, lawn, furniture and a barbecue. On-site parking fits three cars. Smoking is not permitted indoors. The house suits families or groups wanting a base near the beach; the village has shops and pubs within walking distance, and the River Gannel estuary with its dunes borders the shoreline. Newquay itself sits just beyond, with Sainsbury's conveniently close by.

Great customer service! The sales man knew exactly what size wetsuits my kids needed just by looking at them! He was so helpful and friendly and went above and beyond for us!

I went into the shop as I’d been looking at the sweatshirts online. Unfortunately the website was misleading as I was looking at the classic logo crew but they’d used pictures of the hydro top instead which was £50 and not the £30 I was willing to spend. All the manager said was it was probably the lighting on the website and therefore making out I was confused even though I’d shown her the images. If she’d offered to give me a deal on the hydro top I might have still bought it. As it was the classic logo crew was little better than a long sleeve t-shirt so I left with nothing. My daughter bought one of their own brand hoodies and she was pleased with that. A somewhat average experience overall.
