Number One

Mevagissey sits on Cornwall's south coast, a working fishing village with a harbourside lined with restaurants and cafés. From Number One you are steps away from this activity, yet the cottage itself is a retreat—a Grade II-listed building that balances period character with contemporary comfort. Coastal walks radiate from the village in all directions, past coves and along clifftops; the harbour itself is worth an hour of wandering.

The cottage is yours entirely, with two bedrooms upstairs, each with a super king bed. One has an ensuite shower room; the other adjoins a second bathroom centred on a roll-top bath. Downstairs, a sitting room with a wood burner and velvet sofas opens onto a kitchen and dining space equipped to cook properly—electric range, dishwasher, everything you need. Initial fuel for the burner is provided, as are bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating. You have allocated parking for one car with unloading access at the door.

Number One suits couples and friends looking for a quiet base with good food and walking on their doorstep. The cottage does not accept children under 14 or babies; smoking is not permitted inside. Check-in is from 15:00, departure by 10:00.
