Pendewey Farm Cottages - Turneys Cottage

Turneys Cottage is a single-storey stone building on Pendewey Farm, a quiet location inland from Bodmin. It suits couples and those travelling alone rather than families with children under 18. One dog is welcome here, though it must be kept on a lead given the sheep farming on the surrounding land. The cottage comes with its own parking space and sits within a courtyard shared with other properties on the farm.

Everything happens on one level: an open-plan living and dining area with Freeview TV, a separate kitchen equipped for full self-catering, a bedroom with a kingsize bed, and a bathroom with both bath and shower cubicle. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included. The grounds have garden furniture, and you have access to shared outdoor space across the farm.

A local pub sits within a mile's walk, and the Camel Trail—a level, traffic-free route following an old railway line—is accessible for walking and cycling along the Camel Estuary. Bodmin itself is a short drive away, as is the Bodmin and Wenford Steam Railway. The North Cornwall coast, including Tintagel, Port Isaac and Padstow, is within reach for a day trip, while Bodmin Moor lies nearby for those wanting to explore higher ground. The beach is 11 miles away.
