Polvarth Cottage

Polvarth Cottage comes ready for a self-catering stay: electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are all included, and the kitchen has everything needed to cook properly—oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge-freezer and full cupboards. One dog can stay free. The layout is split across two floors, with three bedrooms and two bathrooms distributed to give flexibility for different group sizes. The master bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed and its own en-suite; upstairs there's a third bedroom with access to a terrace overlooking the back. Two sitting areas—one in the living room with television and DVD player, the other in the dining room—both take in views across the harbour and its moorings.

The cottage stands in the centre of St Mawes, seconds from the seafront with a seating area at the front entrance where you can watch the water. The village has post office, supermarket, butcher, baker, chemist, pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Foot ferries depart from the nearby quay to Place, Falmouth and Truro (weather and tides permitting), and the three local beaches offer canoe and fishing boat hire. Coastal paths start close by for longer walks. No smoking inside.
