The beamed ceilings and four-poster bed are genuine period features rather than decoration, and the whole property is yours alone.

The layout centres on a generous living and dining space with a 32-inch TV, sofa bed and dining table. The bedroom holds the four-poster kingsize; the bathroom has a bath with shower over. The kitchen is compact but functional, with an electric oven and hob, microwave and washing machine, so you can prepare meals or do laundry if you're staying longer. Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels come as standard. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Parking is ten minutes' walk away, with a steep uphill section. One dog is welcome here, and smoking is not permitted indoors.

The Polperro Heritage Coast is on your doorstep for walking and exploring. Looe town is ten minutes by car. A pub, shop and restaurant are fifty yards away.
