Talland House

Polperro's working harbour, colourful fishing boats and clifftop walks along the Heritage Coast are all within easy reach of Talland House. The village itself has everything on the doorstep—a pub, restaurant and shops are fifty yards away—and the South West Coast Path runs nearby for longer explorations on foot.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms, each with its own shower room. Downstairs, a sitting room with a woodburner and a separate dining room with seating for eight frame a well-equipped kitchen where you can cook properly. There's a courtyard with garden furniture that sits just above the river, good for morning coffee or evening drinks. Electricity, wi-fi, bed linen and towels are included. One dog is welcome. Parking is about ten minutes' walk from the house (uphill on the return). The cottage has steep or narrow stairs in places.

This is a character property built into Polperro's fabric, suited to families or groups wanting to be at the heart of village life rather than set apart from it. Note that smoking is not permitted.
