Callington sits amid some of Cornwall's finest walking country. The Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty spreads across nearby valleys and woodlands, while Kit Hill Country Park rises to the south with views across the mining landscape. Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor lie within reach for a day out. This makes Seanicview La Val a good base if you want to explore on foot rather than stay put at the property.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms: a ground-floor double with ensuite bathroom, and two rooms with single beds. A second shower room serves the rest of the house. Downstairs, the open-plan living and dining space has a door onto a large decked area where you can sit with a view of the grounds. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with electric oven and hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, electricity and wifi are included.

On site there is a shared heated indoor pool (20m x 20m), changing facilities and a gym. Off-road parking for one car is provided. One well-behaved pet can stay free. Note that the property has a natural water supply via borehole, and smoking is not permitted.
