Skiber Spar

Couples and small families will find Skiber Spar suits them well. The property is a converted barn in rural North Cornwall, roughly six miles inland from the coast, with three acres of grounds and young woodland to explore. One dog can stay free. There's parking for two cars on site, and no smoking indoors.

The layout spreads across two floors. Downstairs holds two bedrooms—a double with its own en-suite bathroom, and a twin—plus a separate family bathroom and utility room with a washing machine. Upstairs is an open-plan living area with a kitchen, dining space and lounge, with French doors opening onto a balcony. The kitchen has what you need to cook properly: electric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge-freezer. Freeview TV, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are all included.

The location works for different sorts of trip. The coast is close for beach days; Bodmin Moor and its walking routes lie nearby; Wadebridge and Camelford have shops, restaurants and pubs. The Camel Trail runs through the area if you want to cycle towards Padstow or Bodmin. The grounds themselves are worth spending time in—locals report seeing rabbits, foxes, roe deer, buzzards and owls among the woodland.
