Linhay is a ground-floor cottage formed from a converted 17th-century stone barn, part of a small collection on Bay View Farm just outside Looe. You walk straight in to an open-plan living space with kitchen, dining area and sitting room, then through to a bedroom with a double and single bed and a bathroom with bath and shower. The essentials are covered: heating, electricity, bed linen and Wi-Fi are all included, and there's parking for one car on site.
The property sits yards from the South West Coastal Path, making it a natural base for walking the dramatic coastline. Millendreath Beach is just a short walk away and has a licensed café. Seaton Beach, with its pub and beach bar, is about a mile off. Looe itself—a working fishing harbour with daily markets, restaurants and a sandy beach—is close enough for a morning or afternoon visit. One dog is welcome, provided it stays on a lead. The cottage has a shared utility room with washing machines and tumble dryers (coin-operated), and guests have access to a courtyard with seating and a children's play area shared with other properties on the farm.

Fantastic stay in Linhay Cottage. Clean, cozy and warm, super comfortable accommodation. Site is so peaceful, and the location so close to the coast path was perfect for some beautiful walks with our dogs. Welcome tray of tea, coffee and eggs was a lovely touch, thank you!

A beautiful, peaceful and very picturesque place to stay that is run by some lovely people. My family and I spent 6 nights in The Stables, it had everything we needed, was warm, cosy and was in close proximity to some great coastal walks. I would highly recommend staying if you want to get away from it all for a few days!

Just got back from a long weekend at The Linhay cottage. Great value and wonderful location. Dennis was great and helped us out organising 2 hours of e-foiling. The Cornish coastal path links right opposite so you can walk off to mildreath beach or go in the other direction (some road walking after a nice woodland path).

A beautiful place to stay, perfect for couples and families with children. Always clean and well equipped. Polite, friendly and helpful staff. We come back every year. Would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing break in beautiful Cornwall countryside with a short walk to a lovely beach.
