The South West Coastal Path runs close to Summercourt Cottages - Stables, opening up miles of coastal walking with dramatic sea views. Millendreath Beach is yards away—a sandy cove with a licensed café serving local food and ales. Seaton Beach, another swimming spot with a pub and beach bar, sits a mile along the coast. Looe town centre, famous for its working fishing harbour and daily fish markets, is close enough for an afternoon visit; the harbour walk leads past restaurants and fresh seafood stalls. For something different, Polperro is a short drive, a historic fishing village worth exploring by car or on foot.
The property is a converted stone stable for four guests, with two bedrooms (one with a king bed, one with two singles) and a bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs holds the living room and kitchen/dining room, equipped for cooking from scratch—gas oven, hob, dishwasher and full fridge space included. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all provided. You get private parking for two cars on site, and one well-behaved dog is welcome. The grounds include a shared courtyard, garden furniture and children's play area, plus a bike store for exploring the numerous cycle routes in the area.
Nearby attractions include The Monkey Sanctuary, The Eden Project (easy driving distance), the Adrenalin Quarry for outdoor activities, and National Trust properties. The coast here suits families, couples and anyone wanting serious walking. No smoking inside the property.

What guests say
Gorgeous surroundings, quite place, very rural in style. Basic kitchen. Only thing abit annoying is the hot water bottle is really slow! Electric meter a bit high! Lovely lady who own it's. All say & done would go back.

Nice little cottage with everything you could need for your stay. In the countryside, so mornings and evenings are lovely and quiet. Nice sea view to the rear of the property. Bit of a walk to tintagel or trebarwith sands (40+ mins) with no pavement through mostly narrow lanes. Would definitely recommend for solo or couples trips. If youre going with kids and dogs then its a fantastic base to drive from

Cozy cottage which is clean and very peaceful and a great get away. We had no problem with the heating or hot water and it’s the perfect place to come for some peace and quiet. So happy I found this place and will look to book it again if visiting the area.
