Tamarind

Whitsand Bay stretches along this stretch of the Cornish coast, and Tamarind sits positioned to make the most of it. The detached house spreads across two floors, with a lower ground level that holds three of the four bedrooms; each opens onto a terrace, so you wake to views over the water and can step straight outside with your morning coffee. The ground floor contains the main living space and kitchen, plus a fourth bedroom and second bathroom.

Sleeping ten in total, the bedrooms include one with a king bed and ensuite, two with doubles, and two with singles. The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and washing machine, so cooking for a group is manageable. A 50-inch TV, DVD player and wifi keep people occupied indoors, but the real draw is outside: three split-level terraces furnished with seating, and an enclosed garden with patio. One car parks on site; there is further on-road parking available. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The property does not permit smoking. Note that access involves 16 steps to the entrance, and there are narrow stairs within; the garden has one step.
