You step into Tanglewood to find a bright, uncluttered layout spread across two floors. Ground level holds the living room with Freeview TV and electric fire, a dining room, and a good-sized kitchen fitted with electric oven, hob, dishwasher and all the basics for self-catering. There's a utility room with washing machine, and a conservatory that opens to the rear. Upstairs are four bedrooms: one with a king bed and ensuite shower, one double, one twin and one single, plus a family bathroom with bath and double shower. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.
The garden is the real draw—a wild space filled with quirky sculptures, ponds and enough wildlife to keep eyes occupied. There's decking, seating areas and a barbecue for eating out, plus room to explore. Private parking accommodates three cars. The house sits in a quiet residential corner near Penzance and St Austell, handy for the South Cornish coast: Fowey with its narrow streets and restaurants is close by, as are the harbour towns of Looe and Polperro, and the beaches themselves a short drive. One well-behaved dog stays free. Non-smokers only.

Discovered this wonderful place today and absolutely loved it. It was truly magical and loved all the wild flowers. There were foxgloves, orchids, stunning pink and yellow lilies. Full of surprises, loved the sense of humour especially and the very friendly ducks who we fed by hand. There was also Jack the peacock. Loads of perfect picnic places and tables and chairs and a lovely place for all ages. Definitely worth a visit you won’t be disappointed but remember it’s WILD

A magical place 💜. We were planning to go elsewhere but found this place instead and we are so happy we did. A wild creative space, beautiful ponds and scattered art everywhere, perfect for a picnic, family day out or just to sit in nature for a bit. We have added it to our list of "must come back yearly" places. Will recommend. 11 out of 10
