The Beach Hut is a compact holiday home built to face the water, its windows and veranda positioned to catch the sea views across Watergate Bay. Two bedrooms sleep four guests—a master with a four-poster bed and a second with two singles—along with a bathroom and kitchen equipped for self-catering. Electricity, bed linen and towels come as standard. There's off-road parking and five steps up to the front door to bear in mind.
The location puts you within easy walking distance of the bay's golden sand and the Atlantic breakers that draw surfers year-round. Watergate Bay Hotel and the Wavehunters Surf School are close by. The cottage sits in rural surroundings, though the beach itself is less than a mile away. The grounds contain an unfenced pond, and children under 10 are not suitable for this property. No smoking indoors.

Lunch with a good friend.. It wasn't a stunningly sunny day, quite the opposite but none the less the atmosphere was the usual buzz, , with a welcoming, chilled vibe and great food.. Service was attentive but not overly so, just enough to know you are valued and always engaging.. a favourite place for me.. thanks team!

Stunning views and an unbeatable location right on the dog‑friendly beach. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for starting the day by the sea. The menu is extensive with plenty of choice. We visited for breakfast — my partner had the full Cornish breakfast with a latte, and I went for a bacon roll with fresh orange juice. Everything was delicious, well presented, and served by friendly staff. A lovely spot to enjoy great food while taking in the beautiful coastline.

It’s a 4.5 ⭐️ review for this place. A great location, really nice staff who were very polite and attentive throughout. Our food was delicious! We ordered a mix of items to share in a kinda Tapas fashion. The Beach Hut Fries were an absolute treat 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼 sounds a bit daft rating the fries but these are special! The only let down for us was the 1/2 Pint of Prawns, maybe we’re not posh enough and this is a common thing but it took ages to peel them and quite messy. I get that’s authentic and a real fresh offering to the table but it should say that in the menu or the server should advise upon ordering. There’s a large car park nearby, lots of steps or there is a long ramp but just something to be aware of if you’re not great on your feet. Glad we dined there - great views 😎

Honestly found an absolute gem here. Appears to be a bit of a secret in Cornwall. Food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so very friendly from start to finish. Ordered from a specials board and the main menu. All the food looked great when bought through. Had a number of smaller plates to share. Has high chairs, takes American Express and is just simply a very nice place with a great vibe.

Some reviews mention the food can be overpriced.
