Calstock is a quiet village in the Tamar Valley, perched above a tidal river with views across open countryside. The Little House sits as a detached property on the grounds, offering a private retreat with a garden and terrace overlooking the landscape. A public slipway into the river is within the village, and the location works as a base for the Tamar Valley itself, or for reaching Tavistock, Dartmoor, mid-Cornwall, or the north and south coasts.
Inside is one bedroom with a king bed and patio doors onto the garden, plus a shower room. Downstairs is an open-plan living space with a kitchen area (electric cooker, microwave, fridge) and a dining section, with French doors also leading outside. The whole property is yours alone. Oil-fired central heating keeps it warm; electricity, bed linen and towels are included. An external utility room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is parking for one car and a bike store on site. The enclosed rear garden has a lawn, patio and BBQ. No smoking is permitted.
The cottage suits couples looking for a quiet base, whether for walking, cycling, canoeing or simply exploring the valley. The village shop and pub are a quarter-mile away. Note there are eight steps up to the front terrace.
