You arrive at The Retreat to find a self-contained home on a quiet residential street, with your own entrance and a front courtyard. The ground floor opens into a light living and dining space decorated in calm maritime tones, alongside a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and other essentials for proper cooking. Two private patio areas—one at the front, one at the back—give you outdoor space to settle into without leaving the property.
Upstairs, the bedroom has a king-size bed, full-height ceilings and large windows that flood the room with daylight; blackout curtains are there when you want them. A separate dressing room with a vanity and desk sits across the landing from a generous bathroom offering both a bath and walk-in shower. Bed linen, towels, WiFi and heating are all included. Driveway parking is yours, with additional on-street spaces available nearby.
Falmouth University is the immediate neighbour, and the town centre lies within easy reach for restaurants, beaches and the coast itself. The property suits couples seeking privacy and comfort in one self-contained space. No smoking is permitted. Children under 18 cannot be accommodated.

Thank you for curating a wonderful retreat - it’s been the perfect balance of relaxation, activities and swims & has been SUCH FUN! I’ve loved it all, meeting all the guests who are now new friends, the swimming off the jetty and at local beaches, laughing lots, creating arts, writing poetry and sharing such an amazing experience with everyone has been beyond amazing. I couldn’t have wished for nicer people to spend it with and the house, OMG - it’s the HOUSE of dreams. It’s felt like the reset I have been waiting for, stepping out of normality and into the Cornish waters with all the beautiful mermaids has been magical. Huge thanks to Jess and Jim for being the best hosts and creating what has been a brilliant escape, I’ve loved the location, the nourishing food and the laughter every day. Thanks to all who have made it simply the best, keep on swimming, remember, ‘you’ll never regret a swim!’ 😘 Till we meet again x x Kitty

What a grounding and peaceful experience! Having never done proper cold water swimming or even a retreat before, I was a bit nervous before I arrived, but as soon as I got there I realised it had been a great decision. The accommodation was brilliant, I fell asleep listening to the sea every night and quickly got into the routine of a quick scamper down the garden for morning swimming before meandering back up for a delicious bowl of wholesome breakfast. All of the activities were relaxed and had a focus on restfulness and calm and I felt so well looked after and nourished: just what my burnt out brain needed. Jess, Alice and Jim do such a brilliant job of hosting a safe, peaceful space with all decisions taken care of and a true focus on care. Thanks guys- I hope to be back next year!

Morvoren retreats are amazing. A wonderful welcome to a beautiful place to swim, relax, recharge and meet others to share the joy of cold water swimming. Healthy food, varied activities, opportunities to enjoy outdoors with the most hospitable hosts. Jim brought us chocolate treats, Jess, who swam with us every day, collected stones for me to paint and Alice prepared delicious, creative food. I felt indulged along with the pleasure of wild swimming several times a day. Thank you so much from Marina.
