This is what I would call a 'proper' campsite! It's on a farm, with so much space. The friendly, lovely and helpful Ali is happy for you to pitch anywhere, and anyhow which is so refreshing when compared to regimental pitching on some sites. Do remember your ramps as pitches are sloping. There is a fabulous play park and plenty of space for a ball game if you want some family/group fun. The toilets are a little dated but well kept and clean, hot showers, and good elsan and bin facilities. There's a footpath (not suitable for wheelchairs or mobility scooters) to the very wonderful Maenporth beach - great news as there is very limited parking, and a great way to spend a day as there are toilets and a cafe too. Highly recommend this place for families, hikers, couples, tents, campervans and tourers alike... in fact everyone.

Beautiful, peaceful campsite. Owners were super welcoming without being overpowering. Facilities were great: clean toilets and showers, washing up area and a freezer for ice blocks and a lovely play area for children. Dogs are allowed which is even better! We loved it and will definitely be back soon x

What a great site. It is located in a very nice part of Cornwall & is in walking distance to a sandy beach, but also to Falmouth (3 miles along the coast path). All of which can be accessed by footpaths directly from the site. This quiet campsite is clean & well kept with lots of open space for camping. There’s not regimented bays with hard standings, just great areas of well kept grass to pitch up on. Facilities are clean with plenty of hot water for the showers. Will definitely be coming back here again.

I’ve stayed here for several years and Ali and her husband are always extremely accommodating and friendly. Bring chocs for camper vans as the site is mostly sloping but Ali does provide some if you haven’t any. There are hook up facility too and hard standing areas as well as grass pitches. Showers are hot and powerful and wash up facilities and toilets all great. There’s a great walk from the site through the trees to the beach, about 15 mins, so you don’t have to use the road, very useful if you have dogs and children. There’s even a children’s play park, hand made by Ali’s husband and fenced off for extra safety and a newly installed wooden cabin which is the campsite shop and cafe and finally an independently run onsite sauna ! Overall a very family friendly, beautiful site.
