The Shepherds Hut at Rosewood House

The Shepherds Hut at Rosewood House is a single open-plan space on the owner's estate in East Cornwall. You enter to find kitchen, dining and sleeping quarters arranged efficiently under one roof. A kingsize bed sits in the bedroom area; the kitchen has an electric oven and gas hob for proper cooking; the shower room is fitted with a cubicle and underfloor heating that runs throughout. Essentials like Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included, and there is space to park two cars on site.

The hut works well as a base for two people exploring the area. A short woodland walk leads to a railway halt where trains run to Looe, a fishing port with harbour views, narrow streets, pubs and restaurants. The surrounding countryside is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and offers walks connecting to coastal paths. One dog can stay free of charge. No smoking is permitted inside.
