The Shippon is a two-bedroom converted barn on a working farm deep in Bodmin Moor. Everything is on the ground floor—living and dining space flows into a kitchen equipped for proper cooking, and both bedrooms are at the same level as the shower room. One bedroom has a kingsize bed, the other bunk beds; the property sleeps four. One dog is welcome and can roam the 15 acres of pasture and woodland around the farm, though it must stay on a lead in the working farmland itself. You have private parking for two cars and your own sitting area with garden furniture.
The essentials are provided: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, plus the initial fuel for the woodburner. The kitchen has an electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can self-cater properly or keep things simple. If you're travelling with a toddler, a cot, travel cot and highchair are available on request. The grounds also contain two deep unfenced ponds and a waterfall, which matters if you're bringing children or need to know the terrain.
Bodmin Moor offers walking, exploring small villages and Cornish attractions within reach. The farm itself provides space to move around—there's a shared barbecue area and grass for games. Check-in is after 16:30, departure before 10:00. No smoking in the property.
