Looe offers a traditional seaside experience with sandy beaches and a working harbour, while inland the Cornish countryside rolls through farmland where you might spot deer or buzzards. Trecan Farm Cottages – Linhay sits within a larger complex approached by a tree-lined drive, with three bedrooms and one bathroom sleeping up to five people. The property gives you exclusive use of your own space: a living room with woodburner, kitchen/dining room with full cooking equipment, and upstairs bedrooms containing a double and two singles, plus a single in the third room. An enclosed garden with seating and barbecue is yours alone, and you have private parking for two cars.
The farm sits on eight acres of grounds that include a children's play area, tennis court and games room with pool table, table tennis and darts – all shared with other properties on-site. A laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is available. Electricity, bed linen and wi-fi are included, and there's an initial supply of wood for the burner. Cots, travel cots, highchairs and stairgates can be arranged on request. The working farm keeps goats, chickens, sheep, ducks, pigs and rabbits, and there is a fenced pond in the grounds. A five-minute walk takes you to Porfell Animal Land. Beaches like Talland Bay, with coastal paths and rock pools, lie within easy reach, and Looe itself is close by. No smoking is permitted inside the property.

A perfect stay here at Trecan Farm Cottages. The accommodation was perfect in every way, perfectly clean and spacious. Everything you need, from a fully equipped kitchen to fast reliable WiFi, a comfy bed and a nice hot shower. Kirsty is an excellent host, very friendly and kind. She showed our children around the farm and let them hold and feed the small animals and brush the two Shetland ponies. A cream tea waiting for us on arrival, milk in the fridge, tea and coffee in the cupboard. The little farmyard and games room kept the kids entertained all week. The countryside surrounding the cottages is absolutely beautiful in every direction. Very quiet and peaceful. Looe and Polperro are 15-20 minutes drive away. There are plenty of places to explore for the cyclists/runners/hikers out there. We are already looking to book again for next year.
